Silver Swift Boat Trips
Paul, the owner of Silver Swift has 35 years experience commercially
working the waters around the shores of Mull giving him a good
working knowledge of the waters and it's history. The boat is
licensed to carry 12 passengers, tea and coffee provided.
Join
Silver Swift as it departs Tobermory Bay through the Sound of Mull.
Keep your eyes peeled for the magical minke whale as well as the
mighty basking sharks, harbour porpoise, dolphins and very
occasionally Orca. There are a range of different trips offered but
the weekly trip to Rum is not to be missed.

Aros Park
Aros
Park is one of the most attractive features in the Tobermory
surrounds. The park entrance is about half a mile from the centre of
town, however, it can also be reached by a very scenic footpath
starting at the car park at Ledaig next to MacGochan's pub.
The park is very well maintained by Forest Enterprise and has been
developed as a recreational woodland. The company has gone to a lot
of trouble to provide good parking, disabled access, clear,
unobstructed paths, fabulous children's play areas, barbeque
facilities and toilets. All these are free of charge.

Baliscate Standing Stones
The
Standing Stones are situated in a field just 5 minutes walk up the
lane behind Mull Pottery (car parking at the Pottery) on the
Baliscate Estate in Tobermory. The walk from Tom-A-Mhuillin will
take 10 minutes but don't be tempted to take your car up the lane as
the track is very rough. The stones are visible in the field to the
right after 400 metres. Go through the gate and up the hill to the
stones. It can be very boggy so stout footwear is recommended.
White-tailed Eagle Viewing Hide
The
hide is situated on the shore of Loch Frisa, just 15 minutes drive
from Tobermory. Each trip is two hours and there are 30 places on
each trip. Adults (including RSPB members): £4. Under 16s: £2.
Please pay the ranger on the day by cash or cheque (‘Mull & Iona
Community Trust'). All funds raised go back to the Mull Eagle Watch
project to help create new local jobs and to local good causes on
Mull & Iona. Booking essential on Tel: 01680 812556

Tobermory Golf Club
Tobermory
Golf Course is a 9 hole course set on the cliff tops above Tobermory
Bay. It offers superb panoramic views which includes Ardnamurchan,
Loch Sunart and, on a clear day, the Isle of Skye.
Due to the hilly nature of the course, it provides a tough challenge
to all golfers. Visitors can be sure of a friendly welcome and can
play the course virtually anytime. (Competition days are usually a
Sunday).
